Awaken with sunshine! Easter Sunday

Happy Easter my loves! As soon as the clock struck midnight, I was throwing myself a little party -- I had survived Lent! If you follow me on twitter you probably already know that for Lent this year, I decided to give up all meat including seafood (anything with a face pretty much) and facebook. Facebook wasn't hard at all, it was the craving to eat meat that was a little torturous. But I am beyond proud of myself for doing it! :) Let the meat party begin!!! Hamburgers, steak, wings, chicken, shrimp, crayfish, you name it.... I am ready!

The sun was shining through bright today, I even woke up to it in my face so that was a great start. :) Went to church with the family, saw some old friends and now we are going to feast on everything in sight. I fell in love with this yellow maxi for I'm Haute when I saw the owner wear it on her instagram. If you haven't checked out that website yet, I suggest you do. You will not be disappointed! Although it was warm, it wasn't warm enough to wear without a jacket. So I paired it with this cute military style blue jacket, thrifted from my best friend's closet.

Celebrity Inspiration: Ashley Tisdale

Easter weekend! That means fun, bright colored outfits are coming right up! :)What do you guys have planned?

 I can't even put into words how quickly this month has gone by. My job has been the center of my world as of lately, with all the traveling and training but normal is just right around the corner. I guess that's part of the excitement of the  mortgage industry. I've met such wonderful people, and have been given such wonderful opportunities that still take my breathe away. So I'm a 9-5 corporate robot, but I'm beginning to appreciate that more each and every day.

Summer is right around the corner! Which means when I leave work, there will still be daylight... which means more outfit posts. I am beyond excited about that part. :) I've always been a fan of Ashley Tisdale since High School Musical. Her style is always so edgy and she makes it look so easy. For today, I replicated a summer outfit of hers; we had just enough sun here to take some layers off.

A Splash of Tribal

Hello my dolls! It's been a while. I took a hiatus and went to spend some much needed relaxation time with my girlfriends in California! I will definitely do a recap of that this week. We crammed in as much sightseeing things as we could, including Disneyland, Griffith Observatory, Little Saigon and more! If you're following me on instagram,  you already know this. :) We were so busy I didn't get a chance to take pictures for my blog, but I will definitely recreate them all soon.

This was an outfit I took before I hopped on the plane to CA. My mindset was set on summer, and shorts, dresses, sandals and all things in between. I can't wait to see what fashion trends the sun will bring out! xoxo

A Dash of Sweet

TGIF! :) Who doesn't get excited over that phrase? I feel myself becoming  such a workaholic lately that  I even bring my work home! But hey, you work hard to play hard and I can't wait for my trip to California next week! Some much needed sunshine with my best friends, what more could a girl ask for?

Speaking of sun, it decided to make an appearance in WA. It means summer is right around the corner and I couldn't be more excited!

Alter Ego Wednesdays!

My Vince Camuto booties that I got for quite the steal (just $40 at Macys) will my main piece. In my previous blog, I introduced my rocker chic side, today I soften it up for casual look. These have got to be the most comfortable pair of booties I've ever own! Two different looks, one pair of shoes.

Rocker Chic

I've finally stepped out of my element and dressed a little different today. But that's the fun thing about fashion, you get to express yourself however you want to. There are no rules I follow, no expectations I had to meet, it was just simply to spice up my wardrobe. :)

Lazy Saturday

I didn't think I'd get to post today simply for the fact the weather is completely unpredictable. I was really excited when I saw sun shining through my window this morning but right before I wanted to take my pictures, it poured! It was raining hard and windy on top of that... It finally broke for a maybe half an hour so I rushed to my deck and took these as fast as I could! It definitely made for an interesting beginning to my Saturday. :)

 Entire outfit was purchased at Target on sale. :)
